We are seeking a talented and driven Project Architect with relevant experience to manage architectural projects on a day-to-day basis.  The Project Architect will coordinate people and processes to ensure our projects are delivered on time and meet/exceed our clients’ expectations.

Duties

-Will be the Project Lead in developing design and construction documents on multiple projects.

-Will lead a team of 2-3 staff members and be responsible for their productivity throughout each project. The PM will consistently meet with team members to direct workload and review project timelines/milestones.

-Serve as Construction Administrator during the Construction Phase, as required. Specific responsibilities during this phase include:

-Review and approval of Shop Drawings and Submittals.

-Responding to Contractor’s Request For Information (RFI’s).

-Organize and direct the architectural and/or engineering team to execute the work in an orderly, timely, and coordinated manner.

-Determine the extent of the construction detailing required for various elements of a project to ensure constructibility, code, compliance, affordability and aesthetics.

-Perform quality assurance checkers on all drawings and documents related to the assigned projects.

-Oversees training of junior staff and implementation of office drafting standards, providing mentorship and assistance in solving technical related project complexities.

-Apply excellent research skills to ensure project code compliance and to fully develop project technical specifications.

Requirements

-Professional degree in architecture

-Excellence in design and communications (both verbal and graphic)

-5-7 years of relevant work experience (preferred)

-Possess a high-level knowledge of Revit, 3-D modeling experience preferred, but not required.

-Must exhibit skill and experience in designing and drafting in all phases of work, from Concept Design through Contract Documentation.

-Ability to manage multiple projects at various stages of development.

-Exhibit excellent administrative and personal time management skills while having the ability to prioritize assigned tasks and delegate efficiently to maintain established project timelines and milestones.

-Proficient understanding of MEP, Structural and Site/Civil Engineering trades, while understanding the impact that these trades have on architectural design concepts. Must possess the ability to direct consulting teams in the early stages of design and be involved in the election of coordinating these consultant trades throughout the Construction Document phase.

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented drafter specifically trained in Revit, to join our collaborative team. A professional degree in Architecture is required. Candidates should also be well organized and precise, with experience in assembling construction drawing sets in Revit. Primary responsibilities will be to assist team leaders in the development and production of Contract Drawings consisting of finished floor plans, RCP’s, enlarged plans and interior elevations, and schedules.
