Architectural Designer II

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Contribute design ideas and creative problem-solving to all project phases, from initial sketches through final construction.

  • Collaborate with the Project Leader and project team to shape the project vision, establish main objectives, and support the design process

  • Create comprehensive design, construction, and CA document sets to ensure alignment with studio standards and senior leadership guidance.

  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure all architectural documentation is precise and fully coordinated.

  • Source and specify building materials that support the project's aesthetic vision while strictly adhering to building codes and regulations.

  • Create compelling visual presentations to effectively communicate design narratives and proposals.

  • Balance responsibilities across multiple active projects, managing time efficiently while meeting established schedules and deadlines

Qualifications:

  • B.Arch or M.Arch from an accredited program

  • 5+ years of professional architectural experience

  • Strong design skills to transform conceptual ideas into thoughtful architectural solutions

  • A creative mindset, led by curiosity and a dedication to high-quality design

  • Ability to work independently, proactively manage multiple projects, and exercise sound judgment.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with strong communication skills.Strong proficiency in Revit and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign and Photoshop)

  • Knowledge of other applicable design and project management programs is beneficial.

  • Strong understanding of construction documentation; exposure to or experience with sustainability practices (Passive House) is a plus.
